The New Zealand Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW NZ) are delighted to invite you to our 2021 Conference, hosted by BPW Hawera in the beautiful Taranaki.

In line with the New Zealand Federation of Business and Professional Women 2020 – 2021 theme of Reflect, Reset, Renew, BPW Hawera presents BPW’s Annual Conference 2021.

We want you to take a moment to:
– Think – about the environment, reducing waste, local community initiatives
– Engage – around social and economic projects
– Invest – in local business, education, women and community

Early arrivals: We can arrange for you to visit the award winning and internationally recognised Tawhiti Museum. The Museum is a short ride from Hawera and well worth a visit.

Partner programme: We will be running a partner programme for any interested partners attending. Focus will be on local attraction and partner programme details will be released on our BPW Hawera website https://www.bpwhawera.org.nz/ closer to the date.

Transport: While many of you will be driving, Hawera members are happy to run a shuttle from and to the airport in New Plymouth. The shuttle will cost $25 pp a trip and takes less than an hour. A bus or van is being arranged for travel to The Woolshed and back for Saturday night dinner and will be $10 per person.

Accommodation: All accommodation recommended below is very handy to the venue and those on Waihi Road (in orange on the map over the page) are within walking distance.

Come early, or stay longer, and explore South Taranaki – a hidden treasure. We have museums, natural wonders and great sport facilities for your recreation and relaxation (see section 3 for details)

Airport Transport: 
If you are planning to fly into New Plymouth, we are offering transportation assistance for $25 each way. Please advise your flight details via email to Anita Scott, hawera2021@gmail.com.

Last transport leaving New Plymouth Airport for Hawera will be 2.00pm on Friday 30th. After this time you will have to organize your own transport.

    Friday Night, Tairoa Lodge

    Award-winning, Tairoa Lodge offers boutique accommodation, a venue for private functions, weddings and catering just two minutes from Hawera’s town centre. Tairoa Church Hall offers a unique venue amongst park-like grounds, with our own award-winning, in-house catering team.

    Saturday and Sunday, TSB Hub 

    This multi focused complex provides modern conferencing facilities, with onsite catering and easy parking.

    During lunch break on Saturday, local business stalls will be setup in the foyer for conference delegates to browse and buy. 

    Conference Dinner
    Saturday, The Woolshed

    The Woolshed is situated on Ross and Jan Dunlop’s lovely property just out of Hawera. The property has been part of the Taranaki Garden Festival for several years. Catering will be provided by Tairoa Lodge’s Backyard Catering team.
