About

The Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW) is an international organisation with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and participatory status with the Council of Europe.

BPW develops the professional, leadership and business potential of women on all levels through advocacy, mentoring, networking, skill building and our economic empowerment programs and projects around the world.
There is a New Zealand federation (BPW NZ) and we’ve got a local club in Hawera.
Hawera is a very nice, social club with members ranging from their twenties to sixties and with a variety of skills and occupations. Our membership is steadily growing. We have a dinner meeting (usually with a guest speaker) every 3rd Monday of the month, 6pm at Tairoa Lodge Church hall.

BPW Hawera holds monthly dinner meetings and other events for fund-raising and awareness. Read more here for upcoming events.

We send a newsletter through MailChimp. Contact us to be added to our mailing list. Or read our news here

We have an active executive committee view our profiles here.
