Individual members of BPWNZ are women who want to be a part of the organisation yet don’t have a local club they can attend, or local club meetings clash with family or other responsibilities.
Individual Members come from all over New Zealand. It doesn’t matter where you live, you can join our merry band of members and still be a part of an amazing organisation that advocate to change for better the equal rights and opportunities for women all over the world. BPWNZ objectives state that as members we aim to improve the quality of life for all women, advocate for equal social and economical opportunities for women, and push to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women.
Individual BPW members can choose to become active participants in discussion panels and tackle the issues that face women all over the world using the collective power of BPW worldwide to influence changes in policy. What you contribute to here in New Zealand will have an impact worldwide. What is it you want to change or add your voice to?
As an individual member you will have access to an online discussion forum and have online face to face video meetings as required. You will also have the opportunity to tune into club meetings from around New Zealand, when they offer a Zoom link for other members to access. We are also at the crossroads for Individual membership here in NZ, it’s about developing something new and it’s an exciting time – perhaps you have something to offer this emerging area of membership?
