BPW Upper Hutt began in late 1986 and still going strong. We support local community projects with our biggest this year of a $6000 grant to the Aotearoa Pop-up Business School. We sought a grant from the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club to do this and have offered the women who graduated, a complimentary membership. At the moment we have had six budding businesswomen join us at some of our dinner meetings with two expressing interest in being a member.
We are planning a series of events with other local community groups for Suffrage Day and the ten weeks following with a breakfast on 28 November celebrating the day women were first able to exercise their votes.
BPW Upper Hutt welcomes you to our group and look forward to welcoming any enquiries.
