This is a trailer to a hopeful documentary about girls education in Sub-Saharan Africa and one girl’s determination to solve it. Mary Grace Henry, founder of Reverse The Course, makes and sells headbands in order to raise money to pay for girls’ tuition. So far, Reverse The Course has sponsored 45 girls and 115 years of education.

Along with Sadé Clacken Joseph, Mary Grace spent two weeks in Africa documenting the lives of her students and the barriers the girls face to receiving a good education. Yet, despite these barriers, more girls are going to school and paving their own paths to help others.
