Guest Speaker BRIE SERGEANT
'Brie Sergeant has been delivering Kia Haumaru programmes as the only accredited Personal Safety Kaiako in the Hawkes Bay for the last 5+ years. Teaching around 100-150 courses per year to young girls in schools, women, elderly and specialised courses for a variety of disabled groups, she is committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to life changing personal safety education. She holds a BSpEx (Honors Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science) and has been a KH Board Member since 2021.Kia Haumaru is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading provider of gender-responsive, trauma-informed personal safety education.
