Join us for guest speaker - TERI FONG MURRAY
As a young woman of Chinese heritage who was born and raised in Fiji and moved to Aotearoa New Zealand to pursue university studies over a decade ago, Teri is passionate about helping others feel confident in who they are and where they come from.
Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to equity, gender justice, and creating spaces where people feel safe to explore their identities, strengthen their sense of self-worth, and feel empowered to embrace their stories. She has dedicated her academic, professional, and volunteer journey to this kaupapa, contributing to organisations including the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement, Auckland Women’s Centre, and Auckland Feminist Action, alongside roles across the education and not-for-profit sectors.
