After a wonderful break away in Perth over the holiday period where I spent time with family, and was also fortunate to catch up with BPW Australia IPP Jacqueline Graham it seems I have hit the ground running with respect to work BPW.
Thank you to all those who submitted resolutions for our 2025 conference. We received 2
Internal and 9 external resolutions which the Resolutions committee will be convening to
discuss within the next week. Clubs can expect to receive these in early February for discussion.
As mentioned earlier in the newsletter the conference venue has been chosen, and further
preparation is being made to share with all the members the program for the weekend. It is
always a highlight to work on, debate and ratify the resolutions that members deem fitting to
bring to our organisation to have policy on.
I look forward to having not just those who have moved and seconded the motions being
involved in conference this year but also as many members as possible present getting
involved as we move into policy the important issues that we believe should be highlighted in Aotearoa New Zealand.
I have been fortunate to have nominated and been accepted for a position on the Asia Pacific Regional committee as the Constitution Advisor and look forward to working with our
BPW sisters in the Asia Pacific Region throughout the next triennium.
I am excited to move into another fruitful year engaging with you all, using our voice to make
the world a better place for all women and girls.
Noho ora ma
