Tena koutou katoa - Happy New Year to you and your families.

I wish to highlight and celebrate the appointments of our New Zealand members onto BPW International committees and roles for the 2024 to 2027 term. Thanks must go to these women for the commitment they make to our organization here in Aotearoa New Zealand and Internationally. Congratulations to all three – we are very proud of you.

BPW NZ AGM and Conference is confirmed to be held on Saturday 3rd May and Sunday 4th May at Novotel & IBIS Ellerslie, Greenlane, Auckland.

On Saturday we will conduct the Annual General Meeting business and reports. Our guest

speaker on day one is Dr Herlin Chien – BPW International Asia Pacific Regional Coordinator.

Based in Taiwan, Dr Herlin is a University Full Professor in Political Science and Sustainability

Science. She has a focus on diversity and inclusion along with environmental issues. She has

been a BPW member for over 16 years. Her presentation will cover the new triennium

theme for BPW International – Inspire, Innovate, Empower and Transform – Together We

Shape a Sustainable Future.

On Saturday evening we will celebrate the Award participants and winners over dinner.

Sunday will be open to non-members as well as members to attend an inspiring day full of

interesting speakers, panels, and workshops.

Accommodation options are available at either the Novotel or IBIS quoting CODE to be

advised, or the various motels in the vicinity. Transport from Auckland Airport can be via

Uber, taxi, shuttle. More details will be advised with registration information to come out

soon.
