Suffrage Day 2025 with BPW CHB

BPW CHB got NZ Suffrage Day off to an early start by holding a 'Camelia Breakfast'  at the CHB Municipal Theatre in Waipawa.  This was attended by approximately 80 people, who enjoyed a beautiful cooked breakfast prepared by our team of volunteers and supplied by local businesses.  Our guest speaker was local best selling author Charity Norman who entertained everybody for over half an hour with stories of life as a young barrister in the UK and then making a life change to become a rural house wife, and then writer, in Central Hawkes Bay.

Proceeds from the Camelia Breakfast, and accompanying raffles, will go toward our Scholarship Fund.
